At the visit in Saint Lazarus clinic by the end of October 2010 there as signs of big changes since our last visit, May 2009. Even though the personnel were informed about our arrival with short notice we saw a clean and well functioning clinic. The waiting hall was full, same as the treatment hall. The main reason is the high focus on personnel education. The work force has been reinforced with two fully trained nurses and two midwifes. Since the start up for more than 10 years ago there have been over 110.000 patients from 36 nearby villages. Main registered illness for the same time is malaria and diarrhea, though there is a concern for increasing HIV patients.
